Catty today

Catty's name was originally Meli (Melisandra). Great name given to her by Seki cats, where we got her in July 2005. She soon became Sadie though as it seemed to suit her. Now everyone just calls her "Catty".

I am the director of an online teaching business and I work from home with a team of people, also working from their own home, all over Australia. The point is I needed a companion as it can be a bit lonely at times. Catty has become my companion, motivator, and in fact, she now runs the business.

Before Catty arrived, my partner (in love), Peter, wasn't too keen. A few rules were set down:

• No cat on benches or tables
• No catty near computers
• Definitely no cat in bedroom
• I was responsible for cat discipline

• Sitting on top of the bookshelf
• Crawling into the bottom draw of the filing cabinet

• Throwing chicken wings in the air
• Running around on the roof
• Playing under the rug
• Sleeping under my armpit
• Jumping up into bags
• Sitting on Peter's chest

Now all we need is a little kitty for catty and the story can be continued.
